Will Mancini

Founder & Team Leader

Will Mancini is the founder of Auxano, a non-profit church consulting group, and Younique, a training and certification company for personal calling and life planning through the church.  As a recognized thought leader, he leads a team of “navigators” who work with over 400 church teams a year to create break-thru clarity and execute their vision.

Will’s previous work experience includes more than 20 years in ministry that grew out of his earlier career as a chemical engineer and ad agency executive. A graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, Will served as pastor of spiritual formation and leadership development at Clear Creek Community Church and FaithBridge, both in Houston.

Will is the author/co-author of multiple books, including God Dreams: 12 Vision Templates for Finding and Focusing Your Church’s FutureChurch Unique: How Missional Leaders Cast Vision, Capture Culture and Create Movement, Innovating Discipleship: Four Paths to Real Discipleship Resultsand Building Leaders: Blueprints for Developing Leadership at Every Level of Your Church, among others.

Eric Geiger

Senior Pastor, Mariners Church

Eric Geiger is the Senior Pastor of Mariners Church in Irvine, California. Before moving to Southern California, Eric served as senior vice-president for LifeWay Christian. Eric received his doctorate in leadership and church ministry from Southern Seminary.

Eric has authored or co-authored several books including the best selling church leadership book, Simple Church. Eric is married to Kaye, and they have two daughters: Eden and Evie. During his free time, Eric enjoys dating his wife, taking his daughters to the beach, and playing basketball.


Clint Grider, Ph.D., CFRE

Chief Integration Officer & Lead Navigator

As a respected vision optimizer and leader of churches, ministries, and other not-for-profit organizations for over 20 years, Clint Grider keenly identifies the key people and strengths at the core of an organization’s culture. With this discernment and an encouraging spirit, he guides leaders through vision clarity processes leading to meaningful results and sustainable momentum.

Clint's strategic and philanthropic leadership has been proven in multiple environments, including church, university, medical research, global ministry, school, corporate, and legal settings. Adept at facilitating partnerships and continuous process improvement, he helps organizations improve their systems and capacity in creative and vital ways. A Certified Fund Raising Executive, Clint has served successful campaigns ranging from $2 million to $637 million.

Past roles have included: COO and vice president of finance & development for America’s Family Coaches, chief development officer for Sky Ranch, director of development at Baylor College of Medicine, assistant vice president and chief development officer at Houston Baptist University, and consultant to the President at the Texas A&M Foundation.

Clint has received awards for excellence in research, writing, and scholarly achievement, and has served on several not-for-profit boards. He is a published author, frequent presenter, and ordained minister. He received his bachelor’s in business administration and marketing from Baylor University, master’s in educational psychology from Baylor, and Ph.D. in educational administration and continuous process improvement from Texas A&M University.

Clint and his wife Kindra have been married 25 years and live near Dallas, Texas where they attend and volunteer at The Village Church. They have two daughters, one a student at Baylor and one in high school.


Jim Randall

Chief Managing Officer & Lead Navigator

As Chief Management Officer and Lead Navigator for Auxano, Jim Randall has guided churches all over the country as a “vision strategist.” After serving as the primary developer of ministries within the local church, Jim became one of the founding officers of Auxano in 2004.

Jim’s expertise lies with developing ministries based upon clarified vision. He brings a breadth of leadership and church growth knowledge from his proficiency of coaching senior pastors and multiple church staffs in the vision arena, especially around organizational clarity, ministry alignment, and team synergy. Jim has demonstrated achievement as a strategic thinker with a unique ability to bring a group of people to a deep sense of personal ownership and passion.

His education includes a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a B.S. in Religion from Liberty University. Jim lives just outside of Orlando in Merritt Island, FL with his wife and son.


Bryan Rose

Lead Navigator

As Lead Navigator for Auxano, Bryan Rose has a strong bias toward merging strategy and creativity within the vision of the local church and has had a diversity of experience in just about every ministry discipline for more than 12 years.

With his experience as a multi-site strategist and campus pastor at a 3500 member multi-campus church in the Houston Metro area, Bryan has a passion to see “launch clarity” define the unique Great Commission call of developing church plants and campuses, while at the same time serving established churches as they seek to clarify their individual ministry calling. Bryan has demonstrated achievement as a strategic thinker with a unique ability to infuse creativity into the visioning process, while bringing a group of people to a deep sense of personal ownership and passion.

Bryan has a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Architecture from Mississippi State University. He lives outside Nashville, TN with his wife, Kelly and children Macy & Matthew.



Kent Vincent

Kent is a firm believer that the local church is the hope of the world.  Rooted in that belief is a desire to see the church become all God intended it to be by discovering its unique ministry contribution, in its unique community setting.  He brings a breadth of leadership and church growth knowledge from his proficiency of coaching Senior Pastors and church staffs in the vision arena, especially around organizational clarity, ministry alignment and team synergy.  Kent has demonstrated achievement as a strategic thinker with a unique ability to bring a group of people to a deep sense of personal ownership and passion.  His vocational mission is to “lead healthy teams and organizations toward common vision by providing clarity, coaching and strategic execution."  Kent brings real life experience rooted in 21 years of Executive Team leadership in churches ranging in size from 300 to 11,000.

Born and raised in Southwest Louisiana, Kent’s education includes a B.A. from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA and graduate work at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX.  Kent lives in the Nashville, TN area with his wife, Vonda and three children, Katie, Isaiah and Elisha.


Andrea Kandler

Officers Assistant and Campaign Coordinator

Andrea Kandler is new to Auxano as an Officers Assistant and Campaign Coordinator, but is not new to working with churches as they seek to fulfill God's mission for them. She has 10 years of experience serving churches in the capital campaign process, including everything from assisting the navigators, communicating with designers and print specialists, and helping churches meet deadlines. Andrea graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. She and her husband, Cooper, live in Nashville, TN, with their young son, Micah.



Mac Lake

Lead Navigator

Mac is a pioneering influence in the church planting movement. In 1997, he planted Carolina Forest Community Church (Myrtle Beach, SC). In 2004, he began serving as Leadership Development Pastor at Seacoast Church (Charleston, SC) where he served for over six years. July 2010 Mac Lake joined with West Ridge Church to become the Visionary Architect for the LAUNCH Network. Mac and his wife, Cindy, live in Charleston, SC and have three children, Brandon, Jordan and Brianna.

David Putman

Lead Navigator

In 2010 David founded Planting the Gospel (, a network of gospel-centered, disciple making churches committed to helping churches grow and multiply disciples. He planted his first church in 1988 and has served as a planter, strategist and coach. His experience includes serving with the North American Mission Board, where he was responsible for setting strategic direction for the Church Planting Group. He also served as Executive Pastor of Mountain Lake Church in the north Atlanta area where he co-founded

He earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, and a Master’s of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO.

He is author of I Woke Up In Heaven (2012), The Gospel Disciple (2012), Detox for the Overly Religious (2010), Breaking the Discipleship Code (2008), and co-author of Breaking the Missional Code with Ed Stetzer (2006).

David lives with his wife, Tami, in the Atlanta area. They have two grown children; Dave and Amanda, along with two incredible grandchildren. David’s life mission is to help others discover the simplicity, centrality and beauty of Jesus and His ways.


Greg Gibbs

Lead Navigator

Greg Gibbs was raised in the Philadelphia area but has set down roots in the suburbs of Detroit.  As the son of an IBM executive, his instincts for leadership were shaped early.  And, the commitment and involvement of his family in church leadership provided exposure to that environment as well.  He studied Organizational Communication as an undergrad and holds a master's degree in Theology.

After a dozen years of leadership in churches both on the west coast and in Michigan, Greg turned his attention to consulting and has spent years traveling the country working with church leaders of all denominations, sizes, and approaches.

Greg is both practitioner and consultant. He is the Director of Organizational Advancement for Kensington Church - his home church and one of the largest in the United States. Kensington is a multi-site church with eight campuses, and has helped fund and coach over 50 church plants around the country.  Greg’s tenure at Kensington includes the spear-heading of two $20M capital campaigns at Kensington, as well as developing the Leadership Development program.

After 15 years of strategic consulting and having helped raise over $150M for various churches, Greg joined the Auxano team in 2016 as a Lead Navigator. Greg focuses his attention on counseling leaders regarding Clarity of Vision and Building a Generosity Culture in the church. He conducts the God Dreams Retreat, the Vision Frame Process, and other facilitated coaching as needed.

Greg has been married to Andrea for 26 years and they have four children, two dogs, and like to roast their own coffee with beans they purchase at the Eastern Market in downtown Detroit.


Will Heath

Lead Navigator

Will Heath is a unique voice on the topic of transition management and succession planning.  His ministry and professional experiences have afforded him rare, front-row access to succession plans at various stages of development and implementation in churches, para-church ministries, nonprofits, and businesses.

In 2010, Will commissioned the Barna Group to conduct a national survey of 600 pastors on the issue of retirement based transitions.  In 2012, he began speaking at conferences and consulting with ministry leaders in the area of succession planning. Will now leads Auxano's initiative to help ministries understand how to effectively navigate seasons of leadership transition.

Will lives in Murphy, TX with his wife Ali and their two girls.  He serves on the Board of Trustees for Christar, a missions agency that plants churches in the context of least-reached people groups. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching high jump for their local summer track club, disc golf (RHBH) and volleyball.


Cheryl Marting

Chief Connections Officer

Cheryl Marting, as Chief Connections Officer, is the ambassador of Auxano. Cheryl initiates and guides communication and special projects to build enduring relationships and to ensure value delivery with clients. As Auxano’s “people expert,” Cheryl works with clients through team building and team coaching with the client for more effective communication as well as strengthening teams. Cheryl holds a B.A. in Psychology, BA in teaching, graduate study in Organizational Psychology, and is a Licensed Practitioner for Insights Learning and Development.


James Bethany

Creative Director

James has been creating effective marketing and communications solutions for more than 35 years. During that time, he has worked with a variety of clients from small start-up companies to fortune 500 corporations. Projects have ranged from corporate brand development and advertising campaigns to annual reports, print collateral and interactive communications. He has also been involved in brand development for large and small churches across the country. James graduated from the University of Houston with a B.F.A. in Graphic Communications. For the past 17 years he has taught Visual Communications classes at the college level. James and his wife Wendy live in northeast Houston and enjoy spending time with their two children, Baylie and Blake and their grandson, Bridge.


Mike Gammill

Lead Navigator

Mike has fifteen years of experience serving in the local church in multiple capacities. He started in ministry as an Associate Pastor in a small rural church in Montana and served most recently as an Executive Pastor of Discipleship in a 5000-member church in northwest Houston. From his experience as a lone associate pastor and an interim Senior Pastor in smaller churches to his experience on a staff of over thirty, Mike has a passion for uncovering potential in the Body of Christ through Christ-like leadership. He specializes in leading collaborative discussions and designing missionally aligned strategies and organizational structures.

Mike has a Master’s of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and is an Ordained Elder in the Evangelical Church of North America.


Tessy McDaniel

Executive Assistant

Tessy McDaniel is the Executive Assistant at Auxano Consulting Services. Growing up in a family-owned business, she gained knowledge in many areas including graphic design, offset printing, customer service, administration, and business management. Furthering her experience, she has also served as Customer Service Manager and Print Production Manager for local area firms. She is married with 3 grown children, and two grandchildren.


Doug Paul

Director of Marketing

Doug currently helps pastor a team-led church in the inner city of Richmond, VA. He's the former Global Strategy Director for 3DM, has planted a multiplying missional church, transitioned a mega-church, and was a Teaching Pastor and Multi-Site Director at a multi-site mega church. Additionally, he has come alongside a myriad of businesses, non-profits and churches; through re-brands, creating savvy marketing execution and bringing strategic business innovation.

He's married to Elizabeth, a C-Suite advertising & brand executive for MullenLowe US; they have 3 precocious and joy-filled kids: Avery, Jude and Sam. And quite recently, they brought a Great Dane puppy into the family!


David Bowman

Lead Navigator

Dr. David Bowman navigates others along their life-discovery journeys. He serves as Executive Director of the Tarrant Baptist Association in Fort Worth, Texas, one of the largest associations in Baptist life. David leads a team of Church Unique Certified Navigators and leadership coaches. He is an adjunct instructor for Dallas Baptist University. He served as a pastor for twenty years and as a Congregational Strategist for Texas Baptists. He earned Doctor of Ministry and Master of Divinity degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. He also graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a degree in History.


Bob Adams

Digital Engagement Leader, Vision Room Curator

Bob Adams is the Digital Engagement Leader and Curator of the Vision Room for Auxano, the best online gathering of leaders and resources creating break-thru clarity for church teams. He also serves a secondary role of Guest Experience Navigator, leveraging his passion for Guest Experiences by serving churches and the Auxano Team.

Prior to joining Auxano he served 8 years as the Lead Church Consultant for a church design builder. Bob also served 23 years as an associate/executive pastor for three churches with primary responsibilities in church facilities administration, communication and discipleship.

Bob’s education background includes a B.S. in Accounting from Tennessee Tech University, a MRE in Church Administration and Communications from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and post-graduate work at Emory University in church business administration. His lifelong pursuit of knowledge continues with a voracious reading regimen, a cherished habit passed on by his dad at an early age.

Bob and his wife Anita have four children, two daughters-in-law, a son-in-law, and four grandchildren.

John Harris

Network Navigator

John is a vision strategist at heart. He enjoys coaching pastors and seeing them begin to lead with the excitement, focus, and confidence that vision clarity provides. In over 25 years of ministry he has seen many pastors who were only taught to love their congregations, but not taught how to lead their congregations. John’s conviction is that “leading well is loving well.” His desire is to see churches become unleashed agents of gospel transformation in their communities.

He currently serves as the Senior Staff Pastor at Liberty Church in Fairfield, CA where he oversees the staff and assists in providing strategic leadership. He is the primary teaching pastor for their mid-week night service.

Prior to joining the staff at Liberty Church John served as a chaplain in the United States Air Force from 2002 to 2011. His leadership training and development as a military officer helped spark his passion to help people and organizations grow through strong, visionary leadership.

He graduated from the University of Central Arkansas (B.S. Sociology), Memphis Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and is currently a doctoral candidate at Gateway Seminary. John lives in Fairfield, CA with his amazing wife, Jeanine, beautiful daughter Elise (3) and is expecting their second daughter in late March.


Rich Kannwischer

Dr. Richard Kannwischer is both humbled and honored to be called as Peachtree Presbyterian Church’s Senior Pastor, and to share in the joy of following Jesus Christ together. He is excited to be a part of this next season of leadership and to serve the city of Atlanta. One of the most important moments in Rich’s life was when the Christian faith moved from being an idea of God to a relationship with God. He looks forward to sharing those moments with this community.

Prior to coming to Peachtree, Rich served as Lead Pastor at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, California for seven years. He graduated cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, where he currently serves as a member of the board of trustees. He earned a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. He served as a member of the board of trustees for Princeton from 2010 to 2012. He also received his Doctorate of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary and is currently serving the school as a member of the board of trustees.

Rich is a native Texan and is married to his wife Kelly. Kelly also has her Master of Divinity from Princeton, which is where the couple met. Kelly has served in the not-for-profit sector as an executive and consultant. Rich and Kelly are the proud parents of their two precious daughters, Danica and Ashby. Rich’s other active pursuits include snow skiing, hiking, and playing golf.


Dave Rhodes

In a world that is constantly shifting, consistency is of utmost importance. Through the developed skills of Communication, Coaching, Consultation and Collaboration, Dave Rhodes empowers leaders in The Art of Congruency—developing personal lives and corporate cultures that are constantly changing but never random.

Dave currently works as the Pastor of Discipleship and Movement Initiatives at Grace Fellowship Church in Atlanta Georgia. He is a sought after speaker, writer, consultant and coach. He is co-founder of Wayfarer and a collaborative partner for 10,000 Fathers, Auxano and Younique.

Dave is married to Kim and the father of 3 fabulous children—Emma, Izzie and Frankie. Together they function as a Family on Mission, showing and telling people about Jesus. Dave enjoys playing golf, watching college football and eating chicken wings—and maybe eating chicken wings a little too much.


Luke Francis

Certification Navigator

Luke Francis finds great joy in partnering with leaders and organizations to create brighter tomorrows. He is passionate about investing time with people of all ages to help them uncover and leverage God's unique design and calling for their lives. Luke lives to walk alongside leaders and see them experience those "ah-ha" moments, whether in their personal lives or careers.

Luke is an Advanced Certified StratOp facilitator, as well as a Certified Change Management Practitioner from Prosci® and Insights® Discovery Practitioner. He also holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Ohio University and a Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. Utilizing his second chair leader gifting, Luke serves as Executive Pastor at FBC Vandalia in Vandalia, Ohio.

Luke and his wife, Taylor, enjoy traveling, playing music together, and collecting set-lists from live concerts.


Jeff Meyer

Since 1998, Jeff has been serving as Lead Pastor at the Church in Madison, WI. the Church is pursuing a vision of “One Church, Regional Impact” until Madison is transformed. Having experienced first-hand the transformational power of strategic clarity in his own ministry, he longs to see other local congregations and ministries get crystal clear on why they are placed where they are. Jeff brings a unique blend of practical experience and gifted facilitation to the vision clarity process. He also offers keen insight into vision integration. He received his Master’s of Divinity in 1992 from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis , MO and has served three different congregations in Iowa and Wisconsin. Jeff lives in Verona, Wisconsin (Madison) with his wife Amy and two of his four daughters.   It is his personal vision to “become the Lord’s master fire-starter.” His daily focus is to: "Fix my eyes on Jesus; ignite a passion for Jesus; renew hearts & lives; and empower each person to be a healthy, productive leader.”


Melissa Holtrop

Brand Architect

With more than 14 years’ experience in marketing and communications, Melissa brings creative insight, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality to every aspect of her projects as a brand architect. As a graduate of Trinity Christian College (Palos Heights, IL), and because of time spent working in a branding agency, she has a wide range of experience and diverse abilities, from graphic design and photography, to creative direction and project management. She has been involved in work for churches, organizations, and companies throughout the country and lives in Chicago with her husband, Peter.


Vince Parks

Lead Navigator

Vince Parks brings a unique set of business and ministry planning, training, and implementation experiences to his work with churches of all sizes. Prior to entering full time ministry in 2001, Vince held results-oriented positions of increasing responsibility in both small company and Fortune 500 settings. While a managing partner with a Texas based corporation, Vince consulted with over 300 churches of various sizes and denominations, helping them bring their worship ministry and facility ideas to life.

Vince speaks and consults regularly in the areas of ministry governance, planning, staffing, and strategy. He is passionate about helping guide churches of all sizes to a place of Kingdom advancement, wherever God has placed and called them to be.

Vince graduated from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York (B.S. Marketing), and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri (M.A. Theology). An ordained pastor in the LC-MS, he served as Executive Pastor and Interim Lead Pastor of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas, prior to joining the team at Summit Community Church in Buckeye, Arizona in 2015. Vince is married to Marianna and they have three children at home, Matthew, Collin, and Kathleen.


Chris Rivers

Lead Navigator

Over the last eight years, Chris has worked with ministry leaders to provide solutions to the challenge of vision transfer in the areas of finance, process, and leadership development. In 2008, he partnered with a startup called SecureGive. SecureGive was the nation's first giving kiosk designed to help churches empower their people who wanted to give but did not carry cash or a checkbook. Chris then joined a new division of Shelby Systems called ArenaChMS, where he collaborated with church staff of various ministry departments to create customized solutions for their ministry needs.

In 2010, Chris joined the staff at NewSpring Church in Anderson, S.C., to help them rethink church technology. During his time at NewSpring Church, Chris created a staff development program that would transition new staff into ministry with clarity. Within 18 months of launching staff development, NewSpring hired 147 additional staff members, which nearly doubled the staff’s size. Increasingly pastors were asking him for ideas about better strategizing their visions, which led Chris to create CultureBus, an online training resource that gives ministry leaders practical ways to transfer vision to their teams.

Rick Duncan

Lead Navigator

Rick served for 25 years as Founding Pastor of Cuyahoga Valley Church near Cleveland, Ohio. God has graced CVC with over 2,000 attenders each weekend. In 2012, he transitioned the leadership of CVC to a younger leader, Chad Allen. Rick is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where he was a four year letterman on the baseball team, earning All-SEC honors three times as an outfielder. He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins and spent five years playing professional baseball. Before becoming a pastor, Rick served four years on staff of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Jacksonville, Florida. Rick graduated with an Master of Divinity degree from Mid-America Seminary and then moved to NE Ohio to plant CVC. Rick has been married to his wife, Maryanne, for 37 years. They have three sons (Alan, Ryan, and Evan), a daughter-in-law (Joanna), and a grandson (Ethan).


Jeff Harris

Jeff Harris brings a unique depth of understanding leading the vision clarity process. Jeff is the Founding and Senior Pastor of Grace Point Church in San Antonio Texas where he has led through multiple growth barriers by integrating the church’s vision into leadership development, marketing, and capital campaigns. Since the church launched in 1994, he has had the privilege of seeing the community grow and its influence realized through exchanged lives, baptisms, student ministry, life groups and local and global missions.

Jeff thrives on seeing transformed lives on a daily basis. His consulting is marked with a passion for developing leaders and a rare gift of building a values-based culture. In addition to being the Senior Pastor at Grace Point Church and a Lead Navigator for Auxano, he is the founder of Missional Association, a church planting and coaching movement.

Jeff wrote Leadership Forum: Developing Your Own Leadership Compass, a study guide to cultivate and mature leaders. He is a graduate of Baylor University. He earned his master’s of theology in pastoral leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary and his doctorate in ministry from Midwestern University.



Crull Chambless

Lead Navigator

Crull Chambless is an organizational leader, clarity evangelist and vision executor. After serving in sales and marketing leadership roles in a Fortune 500 environment, Crull has served the past decade in various ministry roles in several large churches overseeing communications and marketing, media and technology, and executive leadership, while also previously serving as Chief Solutions Officer for Auxano. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business Marketing from Mississippi College and an MBA from Belhaven College. He currently serves as Executive Pastor of Harvest Church, a five campus multi-Site church in Billings, MT.

Crull’s life mission is to lead Kingdom Enterprises from “What Is” to “What Could Be.” Additionally Crull is co-founder and COO for, a New Media Marketing Execution Company and COO for Replenish Ministries. He lives in Billings, Montana with his wife of 17 years, Ashley and three kids, Jack, Kate, and Riley.


Vince Antonucci

Vince Antonucci became a Christian out of a completely non-Christian background and ever since his passion has been reaching the “lostest of the lost.” He was the founding Pastor of Forefront Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia, a church where 72% of the people who attend were previously unchurched non-Christians. In 2009 Vince  moved to Las Vegas where he started a new church, Verve, in the heart of Sin City, just off the Vegas Strip. Verve reaches pimps and prostitutes, atheists and agnostics, addicts and gang members.
